1 World Diversity Club will be going on a Field Trip on Wednesday, December 19th to the African American Museum. The cost is $10.00 per student.   The bus will leave at 9:30 a.m. The deadline to have money in is on Monday, December 17th. Please see Dr. Sears for a Field Trip form. You can also get field trip forms in her mailbox.


There will be a Boys and Girls tennis informational meeting on Friday, December,14th during LEAD in the cafeteria.
If you are interested in playing tennis this spring please come to the meeting.


ASB will be collecting items for Barry Stoess Christmas Food Baskets, December 10th -14th at lunch. 

We need lots of canned and boxed goods, personal care items soap, shampoo, toothpaste, toothbrushes, and cash donations. Cash donations pay for hams, bread, milk, apples, potatoes, peanut butter and jelly for our 300 local families


The Booster Club is sponsoring a design a t-shirt contest, send your entries to OCAthleticboosters@gmail.com, by December 15th  the winner will receive a 50 dollar gift card.


If you are 16 and have not had a shot for Meningitis then you need one.  If you have had the shot and you keep getting phone notifications you must turn in the  Immunization Certificate to make the notifications stop. Please search your backpack and turn in your form  ASAP.


Spectrum is a magazine that the entire school builds together! This year, our overarching theme is the final frontier: Space! But it's certainly not a restriction, as all Poems, Short Stories, Photography, Digital Art, Traditional Art, anything medium can be submitted! Use our subsections -Sun, Moon, Comets, Constellations, and Black Holes -  to ensure your piece gets a highlight you can share with family and friends! To submit, see Mrs. Stroble in room 168 to pick up a form. We will accept submissions all year up until April 15th in 2019! It's free, it's painless, and looks great on a college résumé! Make sure we present the full Spectrum of talent in our school by submitting today!


Bus notes are now due to the front office by 11:00, notes will be available for pick up in the front office before students leave the building. 


PTSA’s College and Career Nights 2018-2019

The district’s College & Career Night programs are sponsored by all 3 high school PTSAs. Programs will be hosted at either SOHS, OCHS or Arvin Center this year. ALL students and families are welcome and are encouraged to attend. In Sports

This week the girls basketball team will play at Anderson County on Tuesday at 7:30, at John Hardin on Thursday at 7:30,  and against Conner on Saturday at 1:30 pm. The Boys Basketball team will play Grant County on Tuesday at 7:30, at Walton Verona on Friday at 7:30 and against Taylor County on Saturday at 7:30. Wrestling will be at Jefferson High School in Indiana on Saturday, and Swimming will be at Woodford County on Saturday.
